Founder and Scientific Leader
Tiziana Borsello
Full Professor at the University of Milan, holding a Ph.D. in Neurological Science with extensive experience in pioneering research. She has led research teams at both the Université de Lausanne and the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research IRCCS, focusing on intracellular mechanisms in neurodegeneration and therapeutic development.
Senior Scientific Specialist
Domenico Raimondo
Associate Professor at the University of Rome La Sapienza, Department of Molecular Medicine. His research focuses on integrating computational tools and biological data to uncover the functional significance of genomic and structural information. His main expertise includes genome functional annotation, protein structure analysis and modeling, and the characterization of protein-protein and protein-DNA interactions. Through interdisciplinary approaches, his work aims to advance our understanding of molecular mechanisms and their biomedical applications.
Junior Scientific Specialist
Nunzio Perta
Third-year Ph.D. candidate in Biomolecular Sciences, specializing in computational and molecular biology. He is a key member of the NY-MaSBIC team at UNIVPM, a facility dedicated to high-throughput recombinant protein production.
Business Advisor
Elena Paola Lanati
Mother, manager, and entrepreneur. She founded a group of companies specializing in consultancy and communication for healthcare organizations, employing 70 people (60% women, with a median age of 37). The group was successfully sold in December 2021. While launching new startups, she is also interested in investing in other promising ventures, with a focus on healthcare and digital health.
